Costa Rica Coffee

While not a large producer of coffee in global terms, Costa Rica produces some of the best coffee you'll taste. Amazingly this is partly down to the law! Costa Rican law forbids the growing of any other coffee bean that arabica, meaning you can be sure that your Costa Rican coffee isn't adulterated with any lesser beans. The climate is perfect for coffee growing, and while production might be small beans in terms of market share, it is hugely important for growers in the region - many of whom work on independent plantations and farm by hand. As you'd expect from arabica beans grown in these kinds of hot, humid conditions, you can expect a full-bodied, rich flavour from Costa Rican coffee beans - and we're delighted to offer you an ever changing range from a mix of artisan suppliers.
