Mexico might no be the first name on your lips when you think of coffee producing countries, but in fact it is the world's eighth largest supplier! Arabica beans have been grown in the fertile coastland near the border with Guatemala since the 19th century. At one time, the coffee production levels were even higher, but a series of political and economic problems have beset the industry over the last couple of decades. Luckily, Mexico seems to be back on the up in terms of coffee production, and we're delighted to offer you a good range or artisan coffee beans from the country. Mexican coffees are prized for their light, almost nutty flavour, allied to a pleasant dryness.
