Darjeeling First Flush from the Teesta Valley Tea Garden in Darjeeling
Amongst the misty foothills of the snow capped Himalayas, nestles the “Champagne of Indian tea”, Darjeeling.
The first flush of teas from Darjeeling are a tea connoisseur's treasure. They're the product of harsh Himalayan winters which reduce leaf moisture and concentrate the flavours, helping the tea retain its deeply aromatic, grassy and astringent notes. From Teesta Valley Tea Garden we bring you a Darjeeling from the very first week of the season - it provides the greatest example of style. It's delicate, floral, gentle, and it could well make you look at your cup with wonder.
Available in either 50g loose leaf or 20 biodegradable pyramid tea bags.
Teasup has been a dream for its founders Phil and Hanna for a long time until they brought their dream to life two years ago. Obsessed tea drinkers, they believe in drinking tea better: better quality whole leaf tea, better for the environment, better for the people who pick, grow, and drink it.
