When we need an easy-going filter brew coffee to have any time of the day, we always turn to The Gentlemen Baristas' Bowler. This coffee, named La Falda, comes from the Garzón region in Huila, Colombia. It is a great example of a traditional Colombian coffee: clean, juicy and round.
Origin: Huila, Colombia
Cultivar: Caturra, Castillo, Colombia
Process: Fully Washed
Tasting Notes: Panela, Nectarine, Apple
Gentleman Baristas are infamous in London for their beautifully designed coffee shops, a world of wind-up gramophones, and top hats but also one of good coffee and old fashioned hospitality. They believe in 'well-mannered coffee'. The green beans they roast are carefully and responsibly sourced. They source from all over the world; ensuring all beans are high scoring and consistently excellent. We love their coffee and we're sure you will too.
Why the hat names for their coffee?
All of their coffees are named after hats because the coffee house, the original site where it all began was in fact a coffee house way back in the 17th century. Opposite was a Tophat maker and down the road was where the first-ever bowler hat was ever made!
